It was 1941, America was going about their peaceful existence until one
morning that existence was shattered. December 7th the day that would "live
in infamy"
changed the world as we knew it then. The ramifcations of this war are still
felt today in the 21st century.
The Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor catapulted America into World War II
and with it launched a new age of aviation. It was not the first time aircraft
had been used it war, but this war would be different. More aircraft were
designed, tested and manufactured in this time period than any other
in American history.
Our goal here at Allen is to keep these precious machines flying for as along as we can so future generations can enjoy them. Of course, this would not be possible without the support of many people who work endless hours to preserve these aircraft.
